Best CSC Center Hinjewadi Pune is an authorized Common Service Center (CSC) operating under the CSC Scheme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. We facilitate government services to citizens, including document processing, certificate applications, and scheme enrolment.
We are the Data Fiduciary as defined under the DPDPA, 2023, responsible for determining the purpose and means of processing your personal data.
2 Data We Collect
Depending on the service requested, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

- Aadhaar number (where required by law/service)
- PAN number, Voter ID, Passport number
- Father's/Mother's/Spouse's name

4 Why We Use Your Data
We process your data only for specific, lawful purposes:

5 Data Sharing
5.1 Government Authorities
Your data is shared with relevant government departments and portals (UIDAI, NSDL, Passport Seva, RTO, Revenue Department, etc.) as part of the service process. This is mandatory and you consent to this by requesting the service.
5.2 CSC SPV
As a registered VLE (Village Level Entrepreneur) under the CSC Scheme, we operate under the oversight of CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd (CSC SPV) and share data through their secure portals as per their guidelines.
5.3 No Commercial Sharing
We do not share your personal data with any third-party commercial entity for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to your service request.
5.4 Legal Requirement
We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or competent government authority.
6 Data Retention
- Physical/scanned documents are retained only as long as necessary to complete the service and are deleted/destroyed thereafter.
- Service records are retained for a minimum of 3 years as required by government regulations.
- Website enquiry data is retained for up to 1 year or until you request deletion.
- Data shared with government portals is retained per the respective department's policies.
7 Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data:
- Secure, password-protected CSC portal access
- Locked storage for physical documents
- HTTPS-encrypted website
- Access control โ only authorized staff handle your data
- Regular security practices as required by CSC SPV guidelines
However, no system can guarantee 100% security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by the DPDPA, 2023.
8 Your Rights Under DPDPA, 2023
As a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights:

- Right to Correction: Request correction or update of inaccurate personal data
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of personal data when no longer needed (subject to legal retention requirements)
